well mw i dont know if i should say congrats or you guys are crazy, thats a long ss bike ride. the longest i have ever done is about 36 miles.. nice job. i take it you are going down for the race ??
pretty darn sure i'll be down there. the lap will be more ss friendly then previous years. gersib ran 34x18 or 19 and wanted a bit lower gear i think. its easier/funner then hitchcock for sure. it was a super fun ride to caves. we saw the intersection of two unmaintained roads. no traffic. can't say i'd seen that before.
mw
do you have a 19t cog i can barrow ? or mg ? i want to try one out before i buy one.
i have no loose cassette style cogs. i have only freewheels. 16, 17, 20, 22. sorry dude...mw
nice ride dudes,
that's gotta be an amazing sence of acompoloshiment.

hey scott -- i've got an extra 19t cassette cog you can try (or even just have -- i don't need two of 'em). give me a call on my cell (310-3316) and we can figure out the transfer.
fyi -- i was running a 34/19 on the trails at indain caves. it was good, but pretty darn big for some of the climbs. for racing, i'd probably do a 32/19 to make the climbs a little more do-able on laps other than the first.
cheers,
mg
